Open House Review: 26 Lakepines

Between the time I viewed this open house and today, the condominium sold and is now accepting backup offers. 26 Lakepines is a two level condominium in The Lakes tract of Northwood. The home has been nicely remodeled and is move-in-ready. The added downstairs bathroom and the extra square footage for the built-on bedroom were not permitted, therefore are not included in the description and overall square footage, but the layout is definitely worth looking at. Unlike some of the units that look over the community’s stream, this home has a completely private patio, fenced in, but backing to Park Place.

This week, I visited 41 Distant Star in Portola Springs, just a couple of blocks away from 30 Prickly Pear, which I reviewed last week.   This former model home is a five bedroom townhouse and includes many upgrades.

Open House Review: 30 Prickly Pear

After deciding to find some open houses in Portola Springs, I came upon 30 Prickly Pear. This detached condo feels like a single family home and sits at the end of a cul-de-sac at the northwestern tip of the community. It is located very close to where the 133 and 241 toll roads intersect, but noise wasn’t a problem.

Driving into Northpark Square, 38 Bolinas is an end unit backing to Bryan. It is a move-in ready condominium with a large patio that is large enough to entertain. The Open House was busy with multiple families viewing the property. Although an Irvine address, students would attend Tustin School District’s Hicks Canyon Elementary School, Orchard Hills School and Beckman High School.

Driving up Culver and turning on Farwell, the street automatically turns into League. This home is towards the end of the street, past the post office, so the amount of traffic is minimal. As the largest model offered, it has a desirable bedroom on ground level and three bedrooms upstairs. It also offers a private backyard large enough to entertain. Although an Irvine address, students would attend Tustin School District’s Hicks Canyon Elementary School, Orchard Hills School and Beckman High School.
