Today I am reviewing a desirable single level home in Northwood’s Shadow Run Community.  The layout is nice and comes with 4 bedrooms, is a corner internal lot at the end of a cul-de-sac street and has a nice size backyard.

The front yard has artificial grass and nice curb appeal. Upon entering, the vaulted ceilings and multiple windows gives the living room and dining room a spacious feel.  The tile flooring is updated and the carpet and paint were clean.

The living room is a step-down and a good size.  Railing, in addition to the step up, separates the living room from the dining room. French glass doors leads from the dining room out to the side yard, which has a patio area and large area with artificial grass.  The dining room has space for a standard size dining table.  I like how there are two entrances into the kitchen area and that the entrance from the dining room a pocket door.
 

The kitchen has been remodeled with new wood cabinetry, recessed lights, stainless steel appliances, new countertops and tile backsplash.  The extra-large peninsula easily seats five people.  There is plenty of cabinetry in addition to a pantry for extra storage.  The kitchen opens up to the family room.

With vaulted ceilings and large windows, the family room feels spacious.  The fireplace has been remodeled with a mirror above the mantel.

The backyard has a lattice cover upon stepping out onto the patio.  The hardscaped area is large and can easily be used to entertain.  A back retaining wall has some bushes and trees.  Along the side of the home is a wide area with artificial grass, connecting to the side small patio outside of the dining room, which is nice for children or pets.

The master bedroom has high ceilings with a ceiling fan mounted in the center.  It is a smaller size master, but has a triple mirrored door closet lining one wall.  Found through an opening is the master bathroom.  It appears a privacy door was once used, or at least the frame is present, but currently it lacks any privacy door to keep light and noise out of the bedroom.  The bathroom is remodeled with wood cabinetry, wood linen cabinetry, new flooring, mirror and lighting.  There is a separate shower that has also been remodeled with nice tile surround.

Nice tile flooring leads down the hallway to the rest of the home.  The shared bathroom is remodeled with new cabinetry, lighting, and bath/shower surround.  One advantage is that the sinks are separate from the shower/tub combo so it makes the bathroom easier to share.  It is in excellent condition.

The three secondary bedrooms are carpeted and come with dual sliding closet doors.  They are all standard sizes.

A single level home is highly desirable and this home has a very nice layout, large yard and many upgrades.  It is definitely worth looking at.  The high ceilings are nice and the rooms are spacious.  I do not come across many four bedroom single level homes with this much space and backyard space.
