Being located at the end of the street provides a safer area for children to play outdoors, but on the downside, the noise from Irvine Boulevard can easily be heard over the cinderblock wall standing at the end of the Thornhurst.

The high ceilings and multiple windows create an open, light feel to the home. Everything from the paint, flooring, and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
The kitchen has granite countertops, white cabinetry and an island with bar seating. The original coat closet has been converted into a wetbar with additional upper glass cabinets and a lower wine refrigerator. The appliances are stainless steel. The garage entrance is located at the back of the kitchen. There is plenty of counterspace and storage, but the kitchen lacks a floor to ceiling pantry.
Sitting between the kitchen island and the living room is the dining area. It can fit a small dining table. The living room is a standard size that could fit a couple of couches and an entertainment center.
The private patio is surrounded with cinderblock and is completely hardscaped. The area is large enough to have a bar-b-que and a small outdoor dining set for entertaining. I prefer this home’s model with the private patio over other models with an atrium or balcony.
